Things to Do in Benidorm in December: December in Benidorm is really a mixed bag with the weather, which bars are open and how busy the resort gets.
We do see a lot of bars closing for their annual holidays but you will have no problem finding many still open.
Christmas week in Benidorm is popular, here we see a lot of the bars opening up again and you will have no shortage of places to book a traditional Christmas dinner.
Many acts also go on their annual well deserved holidays, many returning home to visit loved ones and family.
But you will still have many who work through December so again, you should have no problem finding live acts, cabaret or bingo.
Unlike the high season, the Square is very quiet and Benidorm has a more relaxed feel to the resort.
It’s a great time to visit with young children and you can grab some great holiday deals this time of year if you get time off to grab a bit of winter in Spain.
Benidorm Fiestas in December
There is not much going on fiesta wise in Benidorm during December but you do have Christmas Day and New Years Eve to look forward to.
Also if you head to the Benidorm Old Town you will find Christmas markets, pop up craft and festive stalls and over at the Town Hall a mini market and kids rides.
What’s the Weather Like in Benidorm in December?
Not beach weather to say the least but we look for highs of around 17c when the sun is out and a clear sky.
Nights are chilly and is worth packing clothing for this, rain is hit and miss with an average of 4-5 days throughout the month.
Overall if you fancy a change from Christmas at home Benidorm is a great choice, prices for flights do vary so always shop around.
One tip is that if you are bringing Christmas gifts over, as carry on, don’t wrap them!
There has been times where customs will make you unwrap them at the airport!
